FRIENDS OF THE SHELTER, INC. collects the following types of personal information: names, company names, postal and e-mail addresses, phone number and payment amounts. No credit card numbers are collected. That information remains with the processing company and is never shared with us. Use of payment buttons on our website take you directly to that payment system and credit card numbers are not shared with us.
FRIENDS OF THE SHELTER, INC. does not collect or maintain information from those actually known to be under the age of 18, and no part of our site is structured to attract anyone under the age of 18.
FRIENDS OF THE SHELTER, INC. will use your personal information for the purpose for which it was submitted such as to reply to inquiries, process memberships, distribute newsletters, and alert you to events and fundraisers. We will use such information to provide operational notices and in membership recordkeeping. Complaints, Spay/Neuter requests or other inquiries may be shared with Committee Chairs within Friends of the Shelter. By sending a complaint or sending us a request or inquiry, you are allowing us to forward your information to the proper person. FRIENDS OF THE SHELTER, INC. never sells or rents personal information to any outside entity. We may, at our discretion, send you information about an outside charity, shelter, rescue or other organization. But that will be sent from us and the mailing list will not be shared with that outside group.
